It’s hard for me to think of a rum I like more than Sailor Jerry’s. It really blends a lot of things that I love: Tattoos and Rum. For whatever reason I’ve always been drawn to rum. Always seemed like the best brown liquor besides whiskey. Well, I should clarify that I’m referring to spiced rum, the clear stuff just doesn’t cut it for me.
For those who don’t know who Sailor Jerry is check this link out. He’s really known more for his tattoos than his delicious rum, but that depends on the communities you involve yourself in. Either way, I love this stuff and I love his tattoos. Traditional is the way to go in my humble opinion but I believe more that tattoos are for you and no one else. Get what you want.

Add as much of each as you like and you have a Cuba Libre. Probably my favorite simple cocktail. Now go out and get inked and sauced. Or neither, I don’t care.
